Hungaroring Classic
Mogyoród, 29 Sept. - 1 Oct. 2017
Hungaroring, the classic F1 track was the home of the well-known race cars of sixties’ and seventies’ at the end of September. It was the first time that Classic Endurance Racing Series, including Classic Endurance, Sixties’ Endurance, Euro F2 Classic, Trofeo Nastro Rosso and Group C visited the Hungaroring. The incredible atmosphere took the spectators back to the past. It was a decent time travel for a serious petrolhead like me. There were so many extreme rare race cars that I totally blown out. I cannot believe even now that I saw, heard and touched the Ferrari 250 GT "Breadvan", Maserati "Birdcage" Tipo 60, Porsche 935, De Tomaso Pantera V8. No words can describe the mood of this event, there was race fuel scent everywhere, continuous engine noise around the track and these awesome cars on the asphalt of the Hungaroring. I guess if you have ever visited Goodwood Revival, you can imagine what I am talking about. I tried to grab this wonderful mood in photos, perhaps I could.
